Trend WRT 240V Workshop Router Table

After reading reviews on the Trend WRT router table I was a bit sceptical. When I decided to purchase this table I was still unsure if it would be the right table for me to use and for any future routers I obtain unless I remained with the Trend selection of routers. After receiving the table on the 3 May 2023 I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised on how sturdy and heavy the table was. My littleTrend T4 router fitted perfectly and have used it several times since. I have to say it is rock solid, perfectly fitting together and I am sure it will serve me well. My only hope now is that I can save for a T14 router which will be a perfect combination.

Over all a good table but build quality not the best white laminate poorly glued to the mdf fence guards and the Mitre Gauge made from plastic

Excellent table for the money. Nice big table, So much better than clamping the router in the vice and improvising 🙂

What can I say... it's just a great Router Table in build, quality, capability and sturdiness, everything you would want, and good value too. The Trend WRT Router Table Workshop is just perfect for me although not done a great lot of work with it as yet, but it's a great addition to my T11EK Router, and I have no qualms about recommending the Trend WRT Router Table Workshop to anyone.

Would be nice if you could change out router plate for the JessEm Mast-R-Lift II. I should have checked before buying

Excellent machine, fence out of square but doesn’t affect most things

Very good value for money, but not without a few faults. The most significant is that the fence is out of square. I fitted a 0.48mm shim between the top of the sacrificial cheeks and the fence, but could do with a little more to achieve perfect 90deg. This action of course disables the ability to carry out jointing using the infeed spacers provided. Fortunately I have no intention of using the table for that purpose. Secondly, the 19mm/3/4" lateral T-track is under-size. The track shoulders are a bit too narrow and the provided bevel gauge, or any other T-Track device that I had would not fit. It took a bit of work with files and abrasives to bring it to size along its length. However, better that way than the usual sloppy fit we encounter. On reflection, it would have been easier and more accurate to simply replace the T-Track which is easily available elsewhere. Apart from these two points, the rest of the table is excellent. I fitted my Trend T-11 and the above table height adjustment works great. I don't have enough patience to use the Trend raising tool except for fine adjustments. A speed-brace with appropriate socket is a lot easier when making coarse height adjustments or bit changing. Overall I'm happy to have it at the price, but a bit disappointed with the out of true fence.

I am delighted with the table. I was going to make one but the cost and availability of a decent insert plate made it difficult. Then I stumbled upon this! It has everything and is really well made. So glad I didn't bother trying to make one. The only slight niggle is the 'Trend' logo on the face of the table which is inset so can cause boards to snag if they are at all bowed and touch it - but it is easily remedied by filling it in! Excellent item - especially if you have a Trend router.

Strong sturdy surface, fence is strong but would be better if it could have smoother way of moving into position.

Excellent for the price, like a little spindle moulder, time will tell how the MDF top holds up tho
