Jayson PEARSON, 27/10/2023Great tool for the price
Ryan Hook, 21/04/2023Great router especially for the price
Alex, 06/11/2022Not used it yet but going of trend name sure it will be good
Customermike, 13/10/2022Perfect thank you
Ann, 28/07/2022Excellent value for the price. Good quality from Trend.
Paul, 28/06/2022Good value
Robert Walker, 25/02/2022It's as good as if not better than the big brands. Trend are good at quality builds and the gadget stuff that make the job easier
Wayne, 23/02/2022This is a quality tool and is an absolute bargain at the price. If you are not going to use your router in a router table then this is the one to buy. If you can live with the plunge depth of 50mm then it is unbeatable.
Mr Harper, 02/07/2021Had expected a lot less for the money but was presently surprised at rthe quality. It is a robust construction, handles effortlessly and will be a great addition to my tool chest.
Mac Lawton, 24/06/2021The build quality isn't up to the standard of the flagship Trend routers - eg the very basic depth stop mechanism - and it doesn't have their range of features, depth of cut, or capacity to be used in a router table - but overall it works fine, is reasonably quiet, has good handles, and is pretty amazing value given how cheap it is.
Alastair Hamilton, 02/04/2021Good tool for worktops. Lacks some fine adjustments, but very good for the money.
David Minall, 10/03/2021First of all the service from FFX was 1st class. The router not so good, if it were blue and sold in a famous German supermarket for £49.99 I would say it was OK But in my experience 40 years + working with wood. I expected a Trend router to be better than this ! I can not recommend it !
Phil Leyland, 27/11/2020The basic router is good, but spoiled by poor design of some of the accessories. The guikde is an abomination, mostly of steel and is so heavy it throws the router off balance. I use the one from my Hitachi M8 which fits perfectly and has better fine adjustment. The top vacuum spout is useless; when fitted you can't put the router on its back to change cutters without the spout falling apart. The screw and nut attachment for the spout and guide bushes is far too fiddly, the simple machine screw fixing used with the Unibase is far more user friendly. I can only get 2 screws to align with my Unibase, which seems too few. I need the Unibase to fit a smaller guide bush to use with the dovetailing jig. There is no indication in the instructions or the Trend catalogue to advise which guide bushes fit the T7, so how can I use my dovetail jig? The depth adjuster post is just crude, a very loose fit and very difficult to read as the gradations are just stamped in to the bare metal. Think twice before you buy.
