Trend PH/JIG Pocket Hole Jig

Decent quality, easy to use pocket hole jig in a comprehensive kit. Only thing that would make it better would be a vertical adjustment too.

Great tooling idea, just let down by short term excessive wear on guide columns. The bush guides were not keeping the drill bit from wandering off and cutting into the aluminium guide columns. May have been a rogue jig but the supplier FXX quickly arranged a swap replacement - very good service.

I've not used this product yet, but I do own quite a lot of Trend equipment and this helped me decide on buying it. The service as usual was excellent and I shall continue to use FFX.

I have used the jig and was surprised how easy it was to use. . Saying that I did make a huge mistake by snapping of the end of the drill by not inserting the drill into the jig before starting it. I had to order another one and it was expensive. The jig produced strong square joints. The jig came with all of the pieces needed to use it and included 100 pocket hole screw. I w recommend this jig.

While a robustly made item, I was dissapointed with the product utility given that the part that accomodates the drill bit is fixed. Therefore the exit hole on the receiving piece of wood is only centred if the thickness is 18mm. Anything thicker, causes the exit hole to lie off-centre, hence weakening the integrity of the pocket hole joint. I understand that the 'pro' more expensive version adjusts for this, but still cant see why this cant be corrected here. Having stated this, the customer service from FFX was 5 star where they replaced the item with a competitor (very well known brand) product.

What a great jig!! Easy to set up and use producing high quality pockets every time. The jig and accessories are made from high quality materials . This has already become one of my favourite tools.

This is a great piece of kit, really useful for a wide range of joints, esp useful away from the bench where it can be easily clamped onto timber already in place.

Cheapest on the internet , brilliant product to hide fixings especially if you make a lot of shelving units. Grubs can be bought to cover the holes made , meaning it can even be fixed on show, filled and sanded.

Great product very easy to use used on Sapele was worried It would struggle With drilling and screwing but no problem at all.

Excellent piece of kit, saves time and brain cells when carrying out repetitive tasks, you can set the jig to the work you are doing, and you will be accurate everytime.

Great little pocket hole jig, might be a little more expensive than other makes but you get what you pay for and I can say this a good piece of kit that will do the job for a long time.

Great tool for the workshop. Not sure why it's taken me so long to get one. It made making my coffee table a breeze. Good quality and much cheaper than a Kreg.
