Danny Byart, 05/07/2023I have had Makita Li Ion 18V drills for longer than I care to remember, and have a drill, driver, angle head drill, and an impact driver. Only ever had the 2 batteries that came with the twin drill set, also from Fastfix, many years ago. This year, whilst doing some more work in the garden, one of the batteries gave up, wouldn't charge, and despite putting it back on the charger several times, it had gone. I had a look around, and thought that I would go for the 4amps, as the previous ones were 3amps. I can not warrant the cost of the 5 and 6amps , and figured that if the 4amps are as good as the 3, then I would be ok. Price wise,FFX were in the right ballpark, not the cheapest, but I have used them many times before, and never had an issue. Sure enough, the items arrived within a day, well boxed with packing around the batteries. Not really much to say about the batteries, they have a small plastic cover over the contacts. I charged them up, and they have not needed a recharge since. If the last the amount of time the last set did, then it's money well spent. For reference, I am just a DIY er, so would only use the batteries flat out over maybe one weekend a month. Great service as always, which pushed me to write the review.
