The Hyundai HYMT5200X 52cc 1.2L Petrol Garden Multi Tool is a fantastic tool that has everything a professional or DIY gardener could possibly want. It is one of the most versatile gardening tools on the market that can be used as a hedge trimmer, pole chainsaw, brush cutter, grass trimmer and an 800mm extension shaft. Before we start with the different attachments it is important to talk about the motor that powers them all. It is a 52cc 2-stroke single cylinder petrol engine that has a soft-start recoil system and digital rev limiter to prevent overheating. This allows it to power the five different attachments effortlessly.
For instance, when operating as a grass trimmer is achieves a cutting speed of 6525rpm and 1550rpm as a hedge trimmer. To set it up is easy and an included manual will make sure you use this tool to its full potential. The tank has capacity of 1.2 Litres allowing you to go for longer and automatic oil pump system will ensure your chain lasts for longer.
As you can imaging, such a versatile tool comes with a lot in one box. With the attachments that make this function as a hedge trimmer, pole chainsaw, brush cutter, grass trimmer and an 800mm extension shaft you will also receive a variety of accessories. Thomas, 12/07/2023For the price I cannot fault it, Ive not used the chain saw attachment yet so cannot comment on its performance. As to its longevity time will tell it but it came with a 2 year warranty which is reassuring. You have to remember it is aimed at the diy /hobby market there are similar professional tools available for but they cost much more

david anderson, 03/04/2023Some parts feel high quality but some feel quite bad. Only used the chainsaw and hedge trimmer so far. The chainsaw was better than I expected, but the hedge trimmer attachment is really bad. For comparison a £30 no name electric hedge trimmer from B&Q does much better than this. The engine feels powerful and has been more economical than I would've thought. First time starting it was a pain, I believe I've flooded the engine even though I followed the instructions. After it was warmed up it always start on the first pull and that's no effort. Overall I feel like it's worth the money. The only issues are the hedge trimmer attachment and even though I haven't used the hedge strimmer yet, that feels low quality as well.

stephen lilley, 28/11/2022Great multi purpose machine if the work required is not too heavy, strimmer is fine but the headge trimmer and chainsaw are limited in terms of power. That said they are both extremely useful for extended reach scenarios.
