Useful dust bag for a planer that produces large amounts of shavings. The quality is good, but I would be concerned it it fell to the floor. The plastic is that 'break and crack' type,,,, better if it was rubberised to prevent cracks, but eh, Dewalt wouldn't sell as many then would they. It is a little bulky too, especially for left handers like me. It means the bag is close to your body so you need to adjust your hold on the planer , can be tricky. I have seen this sold up to £27, this was the cheapest price even with delivery charge ( of which I am not a fan).

When I purchased the plain it came without a dust bag. It made quite a mess using the plain, luckily I was outside. Decided to buy one from FFX as it was a great price.

Does block up occasionally when taking maximum depth of plannings, happy it reduces the amount of cleaning up. You could attach a hoover to the planner but doesn't make sense when using a cordless planner.

Product works and the elastic loops to compress the bag for storage are a nice touch, but the plastic neck is flimsy and brittle, and I doubt it will last. This conflicts strarkly with DeWalt's reputation for quality. In that respect, the product is disappointing and makes me wonder whether DeWalt are REALLY bothered about quality, or just what they can get away with.

All good here on time made the job easy.

I like this bag but the stiches around the bottom need a bit of reinforcement. Reapeted folding and unfolding causes the stiched fabric to slowly desintegrate. Just needs a bit of an improvement and it's fine I believe.... haven't done it yet though :-)
