Great saw, upgraded blade to 40tooth and got much cleaner cuts than the OE ripping blade. Love the fence but needed to fine tune all settings and accurate cuts now. Would definitely recommend and also FFX

Great saw for my small workshop

Very powerful and accurate

Bought to replace a Scheppach TS 2000 which I bought in 1999. Needed an accurate fence and all reviews say that this is very accurate. First job will be to set the fence and blade for accurate cuts. It will be perfect for what I need. As an extra it will cut 2x4 material where my old saw wouldn’t. I know I will get a lot of use from it.

Top quality table saw with an excellent fence

DeWalt DWE7485-GB 240V 210mm 1850W I am a qualified carpenter (City and Guildes) and worked as a shop jointer during my 5 year appreticeship 50 years ago. If that helps. This is a site saw, that is it is intended to be used on building sites. However, if you watch videos on this saw you will see that a lot of people use the saw in a workshop. That is what I am using it for. I am retired so make all sorts of things, including cabinets, rocking chairs, shelving, ornate inlayed boxes, etc, sort of thing a DIYer would make. This saw is perectly adequate for this and more, in my opinion, and would be useful to a small startup joiners shop. I have, as others on the internet have done built a saw table around this saw. FFX were (Oct 2023) the cheapest supplier of this saw by £70 in some case. It seems this review is more about me than the saw. Sorry about that. Tony

What can you say this is 3rd dewalt table saw . This was not as good as my previous blade was out of line, fence out of line, fence had slight damage damage but nothing to worry about. Once setup it cuts well.

Nice bit of kit. Out of the box it was a little way out of calibration, but there is plenty of scope for adjusting everything. The fence is very accurate, which is the main reason I went for this model. Downsides.. it's loud. And a bit overpriced. Overall, a quality machine that I hope will last me many years.

Unbeatable in its class. Thanks to the rack and pinion fence this is superior to all other saws. The ability to remove the riving knife (use with care) makes it more versatile. The blade seems okay but not as good as the one in my previous 250mm model. Every aspect of this saw is well worth the five star rating.

Great machine and doesn't take up much space wit a solid fence with just over 24 inch wide. Could do with more support on new blades. Difficult in finding info on different tooth sizes/numbers but works well

This is a very good quality product, distinctly different to others of similar appearance. I am particularly impressed with the accuracy and repeatability.

Lovely machine but the only two draw backs are 1) sliding gauge is a little sloppy in the track on the table and 2) even with vacuum cleaner connected and turned on it’s still a little dusty to use in the shed!

Well you can see why this is so popular mainly the adjustable fence, value for money? Well that’s questionable £450 is a lot of money for a saw let’s hope I have no problems with it . Cuts perfectly, nice quick stop, well put together, and not to noisy, so all in all very pleased.

Game changer for me as a kitchen fitter Wouldn’t do with out it. Just need to set it up when out of the box With various adjustments, but easy enough. 👍

Good saw. Noisy. Dust collection is not particularly good. Can be difficult to locate the blade on the arbor as the only centring bush is on the removable plate.

Solid piece of machinery well put together not that heavy, not used it yet but if it's half as good as the build quality then it's worth space in my workshop.

Warched some YouTube reviews before buying and most recommended this saw. It's solidly built and well designed especially the quide rail system. The cross-cut guide is too loose in its slot to be accurate and the saw is pretty noisy but otherwise very pleased with it.

Probably the best of the cheaper table saws in particular the fence which is excellent . However it does have its faults, the table is not perfectly flat and dips slightly in the middle, also the coating Dewalt applies to the Table causes the mitre slots to vary slightly in width when used with a perfectly milled runners (I had to sand the channels slightly to remove some of the coating to get the runners to run freely, maybe I got a ‘Friday afternoon saw’! That said, it is a great table saw once it is fine-tuned and a quality mitre gauge is fitted.

Fantastically portable, incredibly accurate site saw. Perfect.

The saw seems well designed and performs well. It does the job as advertised. No significant adjustments needed and once the fence scale is set, it cuts to the set dimension. The twin rack drive on the fence is an excellent feature, allowing the fence to be set then locked with no need to check it is parallel with the blade. The one disappointment was the finish of the cut surface so will need a blade change. Otherwise a good piece of kit for a small workshop. Recommended.

A great product that is very well made. My only real negative is the movement in the mitre gauge bar. This issue is commonly reported in reviews, but not bad enough to stop buying a great table saw. I would defined recommend it.

Cuts beautifully, the fence is a dream to use not liking the angle change (pull/push) would of preferred a crank handle like to raise and lower the blade fence locks solidly.

Good even power, great fence mechanism and easy to dial into any angle. Combined with suitable dust collection it is also tidy for a table saw. Not as heavy as expected and easy to stow away. Only down side is the size of the blade, 210 vs 250. If you need the greater cut depth then opt for the 110v version

Ordered the DeWalt DWE7485 table saw from FFX, it arrived within 24hrs! Saw blade was vertical on arrival requiring zero adjustment from factory setting. Similarly the blade was parallel to the fence and required no adjustment. I ordered a pair of JessEm feather boards and DeWalt safety pawl before trying the saw, having discovered the dangers involved - this is my first table saw! The noise when operating is not excessive, and is easily lessened with basic ear protectors. With my first cut of a piece of skirting board I thought the blade had dropped down, as there was no resistance or change of sound, but the board had been cut without effort. The cut finish with the blade supplied as standard was very clean and smooth. The power ON switch was easy to locate, and the STOP button very easy to operate by hand or knee. The blade stopped rotating very quickly after hitting the STOP button. A very well made table saw, with a quality feel. The rip fence is amazing, very easy to adjust, and locks solidly at the required settings. I can recommend this saw.

This is a great saw - easy to set up and use. Very happy with the build quality.

The problem with most of these clamp-one-end table saws is that they rarely cut square regularly after setting up. The DeWalt 7485 has a rack and pinion fence and it's spot on. If you've got a home workshop then this will please you greatly.
